Class Size Reduction (CSR) Calculations Worksheet
The California Department of Education recently released Guidance for QEIA Class Size Reduction (CSR). These Class Size Reduction worksheets will assist districts and schools in selecting the appropriate base year, calculating CSR grade level averages, and projecting targets. Use the tabs at the bottom to select the appropriate worksheet: Self-Contained, Departmentalized or Self-Contained/Departmentalized Settings. This two-hour webcast includes: tips to effectively utilize resources to support systemic reform; suggestions for integrating new and existing resources; tools for multi-year budget and fiscal forecasting; and an exploration of negotiations, sustainability and equity.

QEIA Technical Assistance with Planning and Implementation

This webcast provides valuable information to districts and county offices in regards to the planning and implementation of QEIA. The first portion of the webcast includes a review of the core requirements for standard programs as well as schools funded under the alternative option. The second portion of the webcast focused on considerations for thoughtful planning followed by tips about being careful consumers. Lastly, the event concluded by providing answers to questions that were generated by participants during the webcast.
